Pero Foods
Pero is an award-winning pet food manufacturer based in the heart of Eryri.
Producing a range of all-natural foods and treats, Pero's products are sold all across Europe.
The Project
The core focus at Pero was to reposition the brand and shine more light on the consumer products they had available.
After the Covid-19 pandemic, the company wanted to move away from a retailer-focussed route to market, and begin selling direct to consumers.
I worked to establish a strong foundation from which Pero could connect directly with consumers, through a new web platform designed for e-commerce.
I also worked to update their brand, which needed a few small tweaks to bring it into the 2020's in style.
A new website
A major component that was missing at Pero was a consumer facing website.
A brochureware website did exist, but it had no e-commerce functionality, and therefore was not serving customers as intended.
I wanted to change that, and worked with a web agency to build and implement a brand new e-commerce website, built on the Shopify sales platform.
Upon launch, the website proved to be a success, and returned the investment within a single month, becoming a new source of profitable revenue for the organisation.


A new look
In order to create better brand consistency across all outward facing marketing materials, I produced a new suite of brochures for the Pero sales teams to use when contacting their retail partners.
This brought the B2B elements of the business in-line with the consumer facing collateral and created a more unform brand presence.
The new brochure was designed to be packed with information, and easy to read - making the complexities of understanding pet food ingredients accessible to everyone.
